Rebound Physical Therapy in Topeka, KS is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with 40-minute sessions and 1-hour evaluations. You will maintain one-on-one patient care, document progress, and follow Kansas Board of Healing Arts standards while contributing to marketing efforts and clinic growth.
The role emphasizes mentorship, professional growth, and a sustainable schedule with opportunities for leadership and ongoing education.
Rebound Physical Therapy is hiring for a Physical Therapist job in Topeka, KS, and we’re looking for someone who wants real time with patients rather than a schedule that never lets up. Founded in 1994 by physical therapist Paul Silovsky, Rebound has grown into one of the leading physical therapy practices in the greater Topeka and Olathe area, with a team of nearly 50 staff working across our Hillsdale, South Topeka, and Olathe clinics. This opening is based at our main Hillsdale location, an 18,000-square-foot facility that includes an indoor pool for aquatic therapy.
At Rebound, we don’t treat people as "broken" with a condition to simply manage - we work to figure out what’s standing between a patient and the life they want back, and we build a plan to get them there. That philosophy shapes how we staff our clinics: we never double-book, so you’ll have the time to actually build relationships with the people you’re treating instead of rushing from room to room to keep a schedule moving. You’ll evaluate and treat your own caseload, with 40-minute treatment sessions and 1-hour evaluations built into the day, giving you room to do the work thoroughly rather than in a rush.
Paul Silovsky still helps shape Rebound’s culture today, and it shows in the clinical autonomy therapists are given here - we’ll challenge you and trust you to get results, without dictating exactly how you get there. You’ll also be expected to keep documentation timely, follow the standards set by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, and stay connected with patients in small, personal ways, like sending birthday and holiday cards.
Whether you’re a new graduate or a seasoned therapist ready for more responsibility, Rebound invests in where you’re headed. You’ll have access to mentoring, paid continuing education, and leadership development programs as you grow clinically and professionally - and if you’re the one with the experience, there’s room to move into a mentoring or management role yourself. That growth isn’t meant to come at the cost of your own time outside the clinic: flexible scheduling and paid time off plus holidays are part of how Rebound keeps the work sustainable for its staff over the long term.
You’ll also be a visible part of the practice beyond direct patient care, working alongside our Marketing Director to help represent Rebound in the community. It’s a role for someone who wants to communicate clearly, solve problems as they come up, and take ownership of both patient outcomes and the practice’s reputation.
