Job summary

ARC Physical Therapy+ in Topeka, KS seeks a passionate Physical Therapist to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care and support individuals through recovery.

You will assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans, and ensure thorough documentation while collaborating with clinicians and insurers. This is an autonomous role with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current state of Kansas license and CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including EMR system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review the physician's referral and patient's condition to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop a written plan of care with goals and a comprehensive program to attain them.
• Implement the physical therapy treatment program and provide essential therapies.
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely documentation (daily notes, progress reports, evaluations, discharge summaries, incident reports).

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy+ in Topeka, KS. As a vital member of our clinic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
