Job Summary:

Join a dynamic pediatric care team as a Pediatric Physical Therapist in Toms River, NJ. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents across acute care and rehabilitation/senior living settings. The position features flexible scheduling and interdisciplinary collaboration in a supportive and family-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide treatment to promote functional independence, motor skills, and recovery
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility strategies
• Document interventions and progress under facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the physical therapy team, the unit secretary, and interpreter services for comprehensive care delivery

Unit & Facility Details:

• Daily Patient Visits: Approx. 9
• Patient Age Range: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents
• Interdisciplinary Support Includes:
• Physical Therapy team
• Interpretation Services
• Unit Secretary

Requirements:

• Licensure: New Jersey PT license or Compact State license (active at submission)
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience
• Experience in Pediatrics, Acute Care, and Rehab/SNF required
• Skills:
• Patient assessment
• Professional body mechanics
• Patient/family education
• Experience in Neurology, Orthopedics, and Pediatric care settings
