Role Description

The Physical Therapist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Stamford, CT. The Physical Therapist will evaluate clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. Daily responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering hands-on therapy, instructing therapeutic exercises, and educating clients on injury prevention, wellness, and home care programs. The role also involves collaborating with other wellness professionals, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and monitoring progress to adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge to diverse musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
• Experience in Rehabilitation, including designing and progressing treatment programs that support recovery and long-term functional improvement.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care, with excellent communication, empathy, and client education skills.
• Ability to integrate Home Care strategies into treatment plans, providing clear instructions for exercises and self-management between sessions.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; current or eligible state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut.
• Strong documentation and time-management skills, with proficiency in using electronic health records.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary wellness team.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports physical therapy settings is preferred.
