Job summary

Sentara South Boston Rehabilitation Services seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions after disease or injury.

You will provide age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required with valid Virginia license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; advanced degrees preferred.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
• Develop and update formal plans of care addressing individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external team members to improve patient outcomes.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
