Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a clinical Physical Therapist to assess and implement rehabilitative programs that improve mobility and ease pain. You will educate patients and caregivers and supervise designated team members to ensure high-quality care.

The position requires a PT license with a Bachelor's degree and preferably a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with potential for advanced responsibilities and competitive compensation. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with state licensure in physical therapy.
• Advanced degrees preferred for clinical leadership and specialized care.
• Active license to practice physical therapy is required.
• Experience in rehabilitation and education of patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
• Initiate and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members.
• Establish and update formal plan of care for individual patient needs.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
