Job summary

Ventura Orthopedics is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Therapy team. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with physicians to restore function and reduce pain. A strong emphasis on patient education and progress tracking guides daily care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.
• Active California PT or OT License in good standing.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current TB clearance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Help patients restore function, improve mobility, and reduce pain.
• Establish measurable functional goals and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Supervise and support therapy aides, PTAs, and students, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements.
