Physical Therapist

Our client, an established hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona, is currently seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team. This is a strong opportunity for a PT interested in a hospital-based setting working with a diverse patient population and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care based on clinical and functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based interventions focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans and goals as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and recommendations in accordance with clinical and professional standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational and speech therapists, case management, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety strategies, therapeutic exercises, and continued care needs.
• Participate in discharge planning and make recommendations for continued therapy, equipment, or supportive services as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Rehabilitation or acute-care experience preferred
