Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is hiring a Physical Therapist for our San Antonio, TX facility. The position focuses on administering and evaluating tests, planning and adjusting treatment programs, and delivering patient-centered care across age groups from neonatal to geriatric.

Minimum education is a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with licensure in Texas. Preferred Master’s in Physical Therapy, with requirement of BLS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Texas State license is required prior to orientation.
• Active Basic Life Support certification required on hire or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements.
• Plan and modify treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Work with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency.
• Complete established competencies for the position within the introductory period.

Job Summary

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Experience

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Physical Therapist Level II.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as marketing and business familiarity

Certifications

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NEW GRADUATES: Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license.

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
