The Physical Therapist evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs in an inpatient rehabilitation unit setting. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
Responsibilities include: providing initial evaluation of patient's abilities, designing appropriate intervention plans, treating patients with therapeutic procedures, modalities, and equipment to improve function, and ensuring efficient management of work processes by completing tasks and assignments within time standards. Completes post-intervention activities such as session closure, documentation, communication, and charge capture.
