Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Outpatient Rehabilitation is looking for skilled outpatient Physical Therapists (PT) in the Central Texas area. This role allows for a flexible schedule where clinicians work on their own time delivering therapy in home settings. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment plans, and patient assessment, all while ensuring compliance with medical standards.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and high levels of autonomy. Prior experience in outpatient therapy or home health is preferred.

Logistics Overview

Outpatient at Home is seeking skilled outpatient physical therapists in the Central Texas area who are self‑motivated and looking for very flexible extra work on your own time and in your area. The clinicians selected for this position will be performing outpatient physical therapy in the home setting. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, case management, and assessment of patients with orthopedic injuries or higher level neurological conditions. This individual will require high level autonomy, time management, and excellent communication skills with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and physicians. Prior outpatient and/or home health experience is preferred.

• Timely and accurate documentation using Casamba-Web Based documentation and Therapy Source
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
