Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Pflugerville, TX, seeks a dynamic Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient clinic. Provide comprehensive patient care in a busy setting that includes Revital, hand therapy, and sports injury rehab.

You will work with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve goals on their care plan, with hours varying Mon-Fri 7a-7p and full-time status. Requires current PT licensure and BLS, with benefits including VE health/dental/vision, PTO, and

Qualifications

• Must hold current Physical Therapist licensure in Texas or eligibility
• First Aid/CPR/BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment
• Experience with outpatient rehabilitation is preferred

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate documentation using Casamba and Therapy Source
• Interpret assessment data and surgery/medical notes
• Ensure accurate transcription of medical orders
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Instruct and counsel patients and families as needed
• Maintain current state licensure or eligibility as a PT
• Complete BLS within 90 days of employment

As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.

• Timely and accurate documentation using Casamba-Web Based documentation and Therapy Source
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
