We are hiring for a Physical Therapist to work PRN in Richmond!

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, RPT) in Home Health assesses and evaluates patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions. Based on this, they develop and implement treatment plans, perform interventions to improve patient well-being, and evaluate patient progress.

• Evaluate the patient's functional status and physical therapy needs. Assist physicians in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Observe and report the patient's response to treatment and any condition changes to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore or develop function, and maintain maximum functioning according to accepted standards of practice.
• Instruct and inform the healthcare team, patients, and families/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.

Education and Experience

Licensure Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in Indiana
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
