Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist looking to join our well-established and growing physical therapy Practice and the opportunity to become a key member of a top-notch team of orthopaedic professionals. We are seeking a Physical Therapist in both our North Hills (McCandless) and Seven Fields (Cranberry) offices.

About Us: Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehab, including physical, occupational and hand therapy services, to ensure quality and comprehensive rehabilitative care for our patients. With a high volume of patient referrals from the orthopaedic surgeons at Tri-State Orthopaedics, our therapists dedicate the majority of their time to patient care, not marketing. Therapists utilize state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to provide each of our patients with an individualized and complete rehabilitation program. This coordination and continuity of care, with close and constant communication among our physicians and therapists, helps to enhance our patients' recovery process.

TSPT has four convenient office locations with spacious gyms and advanced technology used by professional athletes, including Aquatic Therapy, Pilates, and IASTM for soft tissue mobilization. We also offer a variety of Sports Performance/Injury Prevention services for athletes, including student athletes in addition to injured workers, weekend warriors and our Medicare-aged seniors. We are committed to providing the highest quality patient care in an enjoyable work environment, while fostering excellent outcomes and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications: The ideal Physical Therapist candidate will have at least two years of outpatient orthopaedic experience and must also be an upbeat, dynamic and outgoing individual excited about joining a busy and growing Practice. New grads with strong orthopaedic knowledge and manual skills are encouraged to apply. EMR experience is a plus.

You will be responsible for providing the professional duties of a therapist which include, but are not limited to:

  • Adhering to a full-time 40-hour weekly work schedule in our North Hills office.
  • Providing physical therapy services, including patient evaluations and follow-up treatment while developing a plan of care with revisions as necessary.
  • Assisting in returning patients to an optimum and productive level within the patients' capabilities.
  • Consulting with physicians regarding progress and change in treatment and assisting the physicians with evaluating level of function with the goal to achieve maximum function for every patient.
  • Performing skilled evidence-based procedures as ordered by the treating physician.
  • Preparing daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.
  • Instructing patients and family members regarding in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
  • Supervising office Therapy Aides and Certified Athletic Trainers.

Contact Information: Qualified candidates please forward your resume and salary requirements to Susan Reighard, Human Resource Specialist, either via email at sreighard@tristateortho.com or via fax at 412-369-0150.
