Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy services, primarily in home and community settings across southeastern PA. Flexible scheduling and a strong emphasis on family coaching are core parts of the role.

Competitive hourly wage based on experience and a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.00 are offered, with opportunities to work with diverse families and infants/toddlers in various settings.

Qualifications

• PA Physical Therapy license required.
• Early Intervention experience or equivalent experience.
• Pediatric experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to pediatric clients.
• Follow IFSP and develop methods to reach developmental goals.
• Coach families and caregivers on intervention strategies.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• PA Physical Therapy (PT) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
