Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver pediatric rehabilitation services under IFSP guidelines. You will work in home and community settings throughout southeastern PA, collaborating with families and care teams to reach developmental goals.

Flexible scheduling and meaningful impact on infants and toddlers are key rewards. Required PA PT license, pediatric experience, and home-based delivery experience preferred;

Qualifications

• PA Physical Therapy license required.
• Pediatric experience or equivalent experience required.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies to reach each child’s developmental goals.
• Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Deliver services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress generalizes and caregivers participate actively in intervention.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain confidentiality as required.

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. (Sunny Days) is a staffing agency that specializes in the areas of Early Intervention and Autism services, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Job Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• PA Physical Therapy (PT) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
