Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver services based on IFSP, working with infants and toddlers in home and community settings across southeastern PA.

Ideal candidates have PA PT licensure and pediatric/early intervention experience. The role offers flexible scheduling and a focus on family coaching, with a bonus sign-on as part of the package.

Qualifications

• PA Physical Therapy license is required.
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience.
• Pediatric Experience is required.
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred).
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s developmental goals.
• Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per HIPAA/state/federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Physical Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• PA Physical Therapy (PT) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
