North Lake Physical Therapy in the Portland metro area is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to lead patient care initiatives and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver rehabilitation services.

You will develop comprehensive treatment plans and evaluate patient progress, ensuring high-quality care and patient education throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Oregon State Physical Therapy license required.
• CPR certification and professional licensure maintained.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to meet goals.
• Perform PT assessments and document progress in EMR.
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation protocols and exercises.
• Supervise and coordinate with staff, including PTAs.
• Maintain patient records with EMR and billing documentation.
• Communicate plans and progress with patients and families.
• Lead therapy programs and adjust as needed for outcomes.
• Support interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000Based on Experience

$5,000 Sign on bonus

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist, you will lead patient care initiatives and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.

• Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform detailed physical therapy assessments and document patient progress
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and rehabilitation programs
• Supervise and coordinate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Develop and adjust therapeutic exercise programs based on patient needs
• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
• Current Oregon State Physical Therapy license
• Valid CPR certification
• APTA certification preferred
• Proven clinical experience in physical therapy
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with insurance documentation and billing procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
