As our Physical Therapist at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital, you’ll help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing following illness, injury, or aging issues. You will use various treatments to help reduce pain, build strength, increase range of motion, or develop better balance.

You’ll see patients daily for evaluations and treatments, working with diverse backgrounds such as orthopedic recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or balance conditions. The environment is busy but collaborative, with team members ready to support and mentor you.

To succeed, you must be a team player, personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide patient demographic.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform initial assessments and re-evaluations to monitor progress
• Document treatments and patient status changes
• Customize treatments creatively to individual needs
• Seek learning opportunities and share knowledge with colleagues
• Provide the best possible care consistently

Qualifications

Required Licensure and Certification: Active physical therapy license in Nebraska. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
