Job summary

St. Mary's of Nazareth in Illinois is seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide acute care PT services, develop plans of care, and support safe patient discharge. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with onboarding and mentorship to ease transition into acute care.

This full-time, non-exempt position supports mobility, gait, and functional training in a fast-paced hospital setting, with a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Licensure and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop plans of care
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including mobility, gait, and functional training
• Support early mobility and patient progression during hospitalization
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on treatment and safety
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $39.51 to $57.23 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
