Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics, LLC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a school-based position in Ocean, New Jersey. The role offers Full-Time or Part-Time (leave replacement) with hours from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, and compensation at $60–$65 per hour.

The setting focuses on pediatric patients aged 3–21 in a public school environment. The successful candidate will evaluate and treat students, develop IEPs, collaborate with educators and families, and document progress in a compliant, professional

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in NJ.
• NJ School Certification required.
• Experience with school-based PT services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PT evaluations and assessments for students referred for services.
• Develop and implement individualized IEPs for students.
• Provide direct PT services using evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulations.

Setting: School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Hours: 8:15 AM- 3:15 PM, School is open to days therapist could work.
• Pay: $60- $65hr
• Age Group:3 - 21
• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch

Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations
