Millennium Therapy is hiring a Full-time Physical Therapist for our Skilled Nursing teams in New Hampton, IA and Cresco, IA. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and provide direct therapy with supervision of staff as needed.

We offer negotiable pay based on experience and a sign-on bonus. Expect 30-40 hours per week with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, personal days, CE, and flexible scheduling.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Physical Therapy with state licensure.
• A two-year clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, problem solving and decision making.
• Good time management and organizational/analytical abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation.
• Supervises other PTs, assistants, and students as needed; may have admin duties.
• Participates in the clinical team process and inter-professional collaboration.
• Delivers teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involves in clinical program development.

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Physical Therapist Requirements

• Physical Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Supervises other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more physical therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
