Job summary

VOLTO Consulting is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Morristown, NJ. The role focuses on patient evaluation, implementation of care plans, and providing education to patients and families. Ideal candidates will have knowledge in acute care settings and will support clinical staff development.

Requirements include a valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license and graduation from an accredited program. A preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and board certification.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
• Board Certification as a Specialist in a suitable area for acute care is preferred.

Job description

Duties

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.

Principal Accountabilities

Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
• Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.
• Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting.

Education

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
