Job summary

Building Therapy Leaders in Monticello, FL is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and support our geriatric population on their journey to recovery.

We welcome licensed PTs at all experience levels, including new grads, and you will join a stable, in-house therapy team with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Florida Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries that meet regulatory requirements.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Monticello, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated PRN Physical Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
