Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Wisconsin to evaluate patients’ strength, ROM, balance and muscle performance, and to develop individualized treatment plans. The role administers manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, ultrasound and other modalities, while educating patients and families on recovery and prevention.

The candidate will monitor progress, document in EMR, collaborate with a broad care team, and supervise PT aides as needed in a safe, compliant setting.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Current and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the job's state.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation standards.
• More than 1 year of clinical or hospital experience.
• Neuro experience highly preferred.

• Stay current with physical therapy practices, research, and innovations.

• Ability to pass required hospital health requirements, including drug screening and background check
• Neuro experience highly preferred
• Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and regularly push and pull
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating equipment
