- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, modifying plans of care as appropriate
- Provide services in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform safe patient transfers and use appropriate body mechanics
- Design and adjust plans of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plans
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and healthcare providers
- Evaluate clinical findings, impairments, diagnoses, and outcomes of care
- Perform examinations and select reliable, valid examination methods
- Screen patients to determine the effectiveness and need for therapy services
- Supervise and provide feedback to support personnel
- Complete objective testing for range of motion, strength, and daily functional tasks

Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Ability to evaluate orthopedic and neurologic impairments
- Ability to complete range-of-motion, strength, and functional performance testing
- Ability to complete clinical documentation and charging in a therapy EMR
- Knowledge of therapeutic taping techniques
- Knowledge of ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis modalities
- Ability to work day shifts, 3 eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday
- Weekend rotation every sixth weekend
- Holiday coverage 1-2 times per year
- Weekend on-call rotation for inpatient work
