Role Description The Physical Therapist role is a part-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL, with the potential for full-time . Schedule is flexible and negotiable. PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to address musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and functional movement issues. Daily responsibilities include performing detailed assessments, documenting clinical findings, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans as needed. The role involves educating patients and families on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies, while coordinating care with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. The Physical Therapist will also contribute to a supportive clinic environment, uphold professional and ethical standards, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong competencies in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and execution of evidence-based interventions.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care, with the ability to deliver compassionate, person-centered services and support continuity of care outside the clinic.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, contraindications, and safe therapeutic practices.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; active or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida. New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate patients, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including assisting with patient mobility and demonstrating therapeutic exercises.
  • Prior outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation experience is beneficial; familiarity with pilates-based rehabilitation is a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in physical therapy practice.
