Job summary

The Physical Therapy Institute Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Robinson location, delivering orthopedic private practice care.

You will evaluate patients, prepare plans of care, and document outcomes using WebPT, while coordinating treatment with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in State of Pennsylvania
• A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical & or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position.
• A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients
• Timely preparation of a written plan of care and daily encounter notes utilizing WebPT
• Documenting PQRS and functional outcomes as required by our payors
• Supervising the implementation of each plan of care, and coordinating treatment as a team with support staff
• Tracking established clinic metrics
• Willingly participating in community events to help promote our practice
• Actively participating in ongoing marketing strategies to ensure the health of our practice
• Being a pro‑active member of our team, bringing proposed solutions to any problems that may arise
• Helping to foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
• Displaying a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s satisfaction

• Shoulder to overhead
• Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
• Pushing---routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
• Sustaining a grip---routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
• Guarding a “lift load” routinely of 120-140#
• Viewing monitor screen/using keyboard occasionally <1 hour duration
