The Mercer Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Care clinic in Macon, GA is searching for a Physical Therapist. The center provides a welcoming space designed specifically for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering a wide range of services—including primary care, dental care, audiology, imaging, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy—to support patients' unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and implement a patient’s plan of care.
• Create Plans of Care to increase, maintain, or restore function and minimize or prevent disability.
• Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance levels.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program is required.
• Some directly related experience is preferred.
• Must possess certification and licensure, or be eligible to obtain certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification is required, or must be obtained within 3 months of employment.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary for full‑time is $90,000 and is commensurate with experience.
