Imperial Healthcare in La Mirada, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our fast-paced, compassionate team. You will assess residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide recovery toward functional goals.

The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and therapists, documenting progress, educating residents and families, and staying current with practice standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy practice standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' physical abilities, functional limitations, and mobility needs using standardized assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, resident goals, and physician orders.
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes for residents.
• Educate residents and family members on physical therapy goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of physical therapy services provided.
• Participate in team meetings, in-service education, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of physical therapy practice and relevant regulations.

Join our dynamic team at Imperial Healthcare, a 99-bed facility located in La Mirada, CA, as we seek a licensed Physical Therapist to practice in a fast-paced and compassionate environment. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with patients to guide them through personalized therapy and help them achieve their recovery goals.
