Qualifications

• Valid license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the respective jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with a focus on patient care.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards relevant to physiotherapy practice.
• Experience working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and outpatient rehabilitation programs.
• Skilled in discharge planning, treatment plan development, and working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems).
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on their care plans.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals across disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, including assessments of musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Manage clinical documentation standards accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
• Facilitate patient rehabilitation sessions focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, safety measures, and community resources to support ongoing recovery.
• Participate in outpatient rehabilitation center activities including treatment plan development, progress monitoring, and outcome evaluation for diverse patient populations.
