Job summary

The Sports Medicine Physical Therapist at Ohio State University's Lewis Center provides outpatient care in the Ambulatory Services department. Under the supervision of the Sports Medicine Rehab Team Leader, you will evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Ohio rules and build rehab programs for athletic patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients in accordance with Ohio law and scope of practice.
• Works under the supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine and the Rehab Team Leader.
• Collaborates with rehab assistants and athletic trainers to coordinate patient care.

Physical Therapist## Department:Ambulatory Services | Lewis Center Physical Therapy The Sports Medicine Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine and under direct supervision of the Sports Medicine Rehab Team Leader. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to a team leader, they are also responsible to each other, to those they supervise (rehab assistants and athletic trainers) and to other participants included in the patient care activities. **MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**Bachelor's Level Degree Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education or experience. Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Physical Therapist. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. **Required Qualifications**All Physical Therapist team members must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board.
