Job summary

LeRoy Village Green is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. The role focuses on developing and delivering rehab programs for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

New grads are welcome to apply. You will assess patient needs, coordinate with the care team, supervise assistants, and promote independence while maintaining highest standards of care.

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license in New York of practice, or eligibility to apply.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Able to wear PPE, including, but not limited to masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, and gowns as mandated.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Identifying need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the needs of the patient
• Instructing, educating and training patients and caregivers in the essential skills and functions needed to promote patient independence, productivity, and quality of life.
• Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards

The Physical Therapist is an integral part the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day.
