Legacy Park Health and Rehabilitation in Knoxville, TN is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join an in-house rehab program. You will assess and treat geriatric patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with staff to support recovery and discharge planning.

Licensed PT required; new grads welcome. This PRN role involves standing, walking, and occasional patient lifting within a post-acute care setting. Benefits are offered and CAPLICO values guide the team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Legacy Park in Knoxville, TN, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
