Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for the Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. You will treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions with a patient-centered approach and opportunities in neuro, vestibular, lymphedema, and pelvic health populations.

The ideal candidate has outpatient orthopedic experience, a PT degree, and an active license, with BCLS certification on hire. Benefits are included and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• PT degree or higher and a valid state license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification required on hire.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth assessments to establish baselines and goals.

• Lead PT sessions with manual therapy and modalities.
• Regularly evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Guide home programs and lifestyle changes for recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm

and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm

Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS

We are seeking a full-timePhysical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation Team. Therapists provide one-on-one, patient-centered care, primarily treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, with opportunities to work with neurological, vestibular, lymphedema, and pelvic health populations. The ideal candidate is passionate about evidence-based practice, functional outcomes, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

• Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.
• Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.
• Facilitate physical therapy sessions through exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
• Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current state Physical Therapy license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
