Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth assessments to establish baselines and therapy goals.
• Collaborate with patients to design personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.
• Facilitate PT sessions using exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Guide home programs and lifestyle changes to support recovery and prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals for coordinated care.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm

and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm ( Hours are flexible)

Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS

We are seeking a motivated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing rehabilitation clinic. This role provides one-on-one patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on orthopedic rehab, neurological therapy, pelvic floor therapy, vestibular/balance rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering evidence-based treatment, functional outcomes, and personalized care plans while building strong relationships with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary providers.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

• Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.
• Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.
• Facilitate physical therapy sessions using exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
• Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.
