Job summary

Hudson Milestones Inc. is seeking compassionate Early Intervention Practitioners to provide in-home services to children birth to 3 in the Hudson County area. This part-time, per diem role covers day, evening, and weekend hours as needed, with travel within Hudson County.

You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy per individualized plans, maintain progress notes, and communicate results to families. Experience with birth to 3 is preferred and NJ licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from an accredited program in specialization field.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s license.
• Travel within the Hudson County area is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience with the birth to 3 years population preferred.

• Evaluate pediatric patients and design appropriate therapy plans to ensure children benefit from individualized treatment.
• Explain evaluation results and the proposed therapy plan to parents and other caregivers; work with families to allay concerns and reinforce the benefits of the therapy plan.
• Conduct therapy sessions in line with the approved therapy plan and update progress as needed.
• Maintain documentation for each therapy session in the database.
• Write evaluation assessment reports.

Job Summary:

Hudson Milestones is searching for top talent to join our Early Intervention Program! This position is part-time and operates case by case on a per diem basis and includes day, evenings and possibly weekends. Early Intervention Practitioners are responsible for providing in home services to children aged birth to 3 years old.

Requirements

Position Requirements

• Degree from an accredited program in specialization Field.

• Must be capable of providing any direct assistance with the individuals with whom they are working.
• Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.
• Must submit credentials and any applicable insurances.
• Licenses must be by the State of New Jersey Board of Examiners.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s license.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Twenty-one years of age or older.
• Experience with the birth to 3 years population preffered
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience with the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of language, communication, and social-emotional disorders strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced and flexible; able to make decisions quickly under pressure.
