Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited program in specialization field.
• Travel within Hudson County required.
• Must be capable of providing direct assistance.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Flexible hours.
• Submit credentials and insurances.
• Licenses must be by the State of New Jersey Board of Examiners.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s license.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Experience with birth to 3 population preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of language, communication, and social-emotional disorders preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.

Job Summary:

Hudson Milestones is searching for top talent to join our Early Intervention Program! This position is part-time and operates case by case on a per diem basis and includes day, evenings and possibly weekends. Early Intervention Practitioners are responsible for providing in home services to children aged birth to 3 years old.

Work Location

Hudson County area

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluate pediatric patients and design appropriate therapy plans to ensure children benefit from individualized treatment that builds on their success.
• Explain evaluation results and the proposed therapy plan to parents and other caregivers; work with families to allay concerns and reinforce the benefits of the therapy plan.
• Conduct therapy sessions in line with the approved therapy plan; work with children, parents, and other caregivers to evaluate progress and update their plan.
• Maintain documentation for each therapy session in database.
• Write evaluation assessment reports
