The University of California, Irvine Health is seeking a Physical Therapist 2 to provide comprehensive physical therapy services including evaluation and treatment planning. Ideal candidates will have a Master's or Doctoral degree, a California license, and at least 5 years of clinical experience. The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI) is a part of the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences and UCI Health. The Samueli Institute works to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-informed treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.
The Physical Therapist 2 provides a full range of physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The Physical Therapist performs integrative physical therapy and delivers individualized treatment techniques. The Physical Therapist also collaborates and consults with Faculty, Medical and Allied Health providers regarding appropriate utilization of physical therapy. The incumbent acts as a clinical resource, though maintenance of a specialty certification and participation in clinical research in the field of expertise.
