Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide evaluation and outpatient treatment within guidelines, collaborating with a team of physicians and therapists to deliver one-on-one care.

Full-time position in outpatient Neuro Rehab; new grads welcome; requires BS in PT and state license; Sign-on bonus available; mentorship and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program required.
• Valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
• Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists eligible.
• Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment within legal and professional guidelines.
• Instruct and direct Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians.
• Develop and implement plan of care to improve function.
• Complete documentation and participate in quality improvement.
• Provide one-on-one care in outpatient settings and collaborate with therapists.

The Physical Therapist I is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Physical Therapist instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. This position evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.

You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of physicians, physical, occupational, and speech therapists while providing one on one care to patients.
