Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus is seeking an Occupational Therapist I for outpatient PRN work in Lafayette, Indiana. You will provide evaluation and treatment, direct OT Assistants and aides, and implement plans of care to improve daily living and mobility within hospital guidelines.

The role offers 1:1 patient-focused care, mentorship, and opportunities to work across Franciscan Health therapy locations with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required.
• Must have a valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state
• Experienced and new graduate Occupational Therapist eligible
• Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities
• Ability and willingness to work in team environment

Responsibilities

The position instructs and directs Occupational Therapist Assistant and aides as assigned. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore, and enhance performance in activities of daily living and functional mobility. This position performs documentation and quality improvement as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
