Millennium Therapy in Independence, IA is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient services. This role can be full-time or PRN, offering 30–40 hours per week with flexible scheduling to support patient care.

The qualified candidate will hold a BS or MS in Physical Therapy and be licensed in the hiring state; experience preferred. You will assess patients, develop care plans, provide treatments, supervise staff, and contribute to program development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Physical Therapy and state licensure in the hire state.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation for a general rehab caseload.
• Supervise other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required.
• Participate in the clinical team process.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.

The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Physical Therapist Requirements

• Physical Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Supervises other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more physical therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development
