We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working closely under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll play a key role in helping our residents regain strength, improve mobility, and achieve greater independence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in performing therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitor resident progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments, resident responses, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Ensure safety and comfort of residents during therapy sessions.
• Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and flexible with availability for per diem scheduling, including weekends or holidays as needed

Education and experience

• Current California licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
