Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver school-based PT services in a K-12 setting in Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2026–2027 school year. You will assess students, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to improve mobility and educational participation.

The role requires Hawaii licensure, readiness to meet DOE requirements, and strong teamwork. Relocation assistance and a $5k signing bonus may be available, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Hawaii
• Ability to meet Hawaii DoE requirements for school-based setting
• Background clearance and TB clearance as required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal and dynamic PT assessments to determine students' needs
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct PT services aligned with IEP goals
• Attend IEP meetings and annual reviews as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and providers to support mobility and participation
• Make recommendations on positioning, mobility, and adaptations
• Maintain accurate therapy notes and progress reports
• Support diverse developmental and functional needs within the school setting

About the Role

Provide Physical Therapy services to students in a K–12 school setting in Honokaa, Hawaii. You’ll conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct and consultative PT services to help students improve mobility, functional skills, and access to their education. This role works closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct formal and dynamic physical therapy assessments to determine students’ functional needs

• Develop and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

• Provide direct Physical Therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals

• Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and triennial evaluations as appropriate

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support students’ mobility, participation, and progress in the educational environment

• Provide recommendations regarding positioning, mobility, adaptive equipment, and accommodations

• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, progress reports, and other required documentation

• Support students across a variety of developmental, physical, and functional needs within the school setting

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Hawaii

• Ability to meet Hawaii Department of Education requirements for working in a school-based setting

• Background clearance and TB clearance, as required

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

Preferred:

• Previous school-based Physical Therapy experience

• Experience working with K–12 students and students with disabilities

• Familiarity with IEPs and special education services

• Knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices

• Experience with school-based caseload management
