Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking Physical Therapists for full-time, school-based positions across Hawaii for the 2026–2027 school year. This W-2 travel contract includes a travel package up to about $9,300 per month, tax-free per diem for qualifying travelers, travel reimbursement, and 10 days of PTO.

As a school-based PT, you’ll work with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to improve mobility, independence, and access to education.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT license in good standing and eligibility for Hawaii PT licensure.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy services.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.
• Flexibility with grade levels and student populations.
• Willingness to relocate to Hawaii for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct and consultative physical therapy services.
• Conducting evaluations and assessments.
• Developing and implementing student-centered goals.
• Supporting mobility, balance, strength, coordination, positioning, and functional movement.
• Participating in IEP meetings and the IEP process.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining required documentation.
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and related-service professionals.
• Recommending adaptive equipment, mobility devices, positioning supports, and environmental modifications.

Assignment Details:

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT).
