Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus.

Evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re‑assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to physician orders for physical therapy.
• Administer and interpret tests and measurements of patients. Review patient charts and progress prior to treatment and modify treatment plan accordingly.
• Develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations.
• Develop, improve, and restore functional mobility, seeking to return patient to highest level of independence. Seek clarification of physician orders as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Required: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: Doctorate Physical Therapy.

Experience: Preferred: 2 years as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting.

Certifications: Required: State licensure. AHA BLS.
