Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations across age ranges.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Implement manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
• Progress patients and modify plans based on response.
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention and home programs.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation per state/federal/payer guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the care team.
• Provide outpatient orthopedic and post-operative care.
• Manage sports injuries and return-to-function programs.
• Treat neurological and balance disorders, vestibular rehab, and chronic pain.

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team on a per-diem basis (20-30 hours/week). This position offers scheduling flexibility while providing the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across orthopedic, pre & post-surgical, neurological, vestibular and general rehabilitation cases.

This role is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement income, maintain work-life balance, or gain experience in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations for patients across the lifespan (adolescent through geriatric populations)
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
• Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training
• Progress patients appropriately and modify treatment plans based on clinical response
• Provide patient and caregiver education on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
• Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Outpatient orthopedic and post-operative care

Qualifications
