Summary
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, utilizing your expertise in patient care, physiology, and medical terminology to provide top-notch physical therapy services. Your core skills in acute care, trigger point therapy, and orthopedics will be essential in treating a diverse patient population. With premium skills yet to be specified, your relevant experience in home & community care, inpatient settings, and geriatrics will enable you to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Possessing a Physical Therapy (PT) License and strong communication skills, you will excel in promoting healing and improving the quality of life for your patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy techniques and research.
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Experience in Home Health is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Per-diem: $75- $90 per hour
Salaried: $90,000 - $110,000
