Responsibilities:

1. Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
2. Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
3. Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
4. Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
5. Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
6. Examine and evaluate new patients
7. Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
8. Establish a plan goal and time frame
9. Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
10. Measure and track intervention effectiveness
11. Educate the patient on continuing care

Qualifications:

1. Current state licensing for physical therapy in PA is required
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. The ability to create a positive, nurturing environment
4. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
5. The ability to work well and make decisions in a high-stress environment
