Job summary

Physical Therapy Solutions is seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team in the greater Richmond area.

The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one care while supervising PTAs and collaborating with physicians to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Virginia PT licensure is current or eligible.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain on hire.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, and team-oriented.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
• Complete timely documentation in the EMR and supervise PTAs/rehab staff as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia practice standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications
